  If you are in the Barossa and feel like a meal that is more homey and casual/pub grub, this place is great. When you enter it looks quite sad and empty, but head through to the restaurant and you'll find life. The food is made fresh, in their kitchens with fresh and local ingredients. There is a good choice of meals on offer, as well as specials. The steak was cooked well, however, a cheaper cut as there was a fair bit of gristle. The drinks list has a good mix, with a number of local drops. Staff are super friendly and make you feel welcome. Like most places in the area, it isn't cheap - for two meals and two glasses of wine, it came to $64. The only massive negative to this place is the dining area is literally next to the pokies - as in, your table will be butting against a machine.

  I really enjoyed my schnitzel. Loved the veg and salad bar option. Really amazing service. Would recommend.
